Terms of Service

By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using KEB, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or acting on behalf of a legal entity, and that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you are using KEB on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms, and all references to "you" will include both you personally and the business entity.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our platform. Continued use after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities occurring under your account. You must notify us immediately at security@kitchenequipment.be of any unauthorized use of your account.

You may not use a false identity, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity. KEB accounts are non-transferable without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or otherwise harm other users or KEB.

All prices on KEB are displayed in Euros (EUR) and include applicable Belgian VAT (21% standard rate, or reduced rates for eligible equipment categories) unless explicitly stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice, but any such changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

An order placed by you constitutes an offer to purchase. Your order is accepted when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders for any reason, including errors in product or pricing information, or where we suspect fraudulent activity.

For business-to-business (B2B) transactions, VAT may be applied according to the reverse charge mechanism for EU-registered businesses outside Belgium. Please ensure your VAT registration number is correctly entered in your account profile.

Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout and depend on the delivery destination, product size, and weight. Delivery timescales are estimates only and not guaranteed. KEB is not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control.

Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. For large or heavy equipment (over 30 kg), scheduled delivery with installation options may be available — contact our support team for details.

In accordance with EU consumer rights legislation (Directive 2011/83/EU), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for most purchases from the date of receipt. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the original payment method.

Certain products are exempt from the right of withdrawal, including custom orders, perishable items, and hygiene-sealed goods that have been opened.

All content on the KEB platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, product images, software, and AI-generated recommendations, is the property of Kitchen Equipment Belgium NV or its content suppliers and is protected by Belgian and international copyright laws.

Sellers grant KEB a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and reproduce their product listings and associated content for the purpose of operating and promoting the marketplace.

You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the platform without express written permission from KEB.

To the fullest extent permitted by Belgian law, KEB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the platform or any products purchased through it. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or your use of KEB shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant transaction in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Belgian law.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, Belgium.

For consumers resident in other EU member states, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence may also apply. EU consumers may also access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
