Orders & Shipping

How long does delivery take?
Delivery times depend on your location. Within Belgium, orders typically arrive within 1–2 business days. EU deliveries take 3–5 business days. For large or heavy equipment (over 30 kg), a scheduled delivery with a specialist team will be arranged — we will contact you to confirm a suitable date.
How can I track my order?
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to the carrier's tracking page. You can also view order status in your account under "My Orders". If you have not received a tracking email within 24 hours of your expected dispatch date, please contact our support team.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! Orders within Belgium qualify for free standard shipping when the order total exceeds €150 (including VAT). For orders below this threshold, standard Belgian delivery costs €9.95. EU shipping rates vary by destination — see our full Shipping Information page for details.
Can I change my delivery address after placing an order?
Address changes can only be made before your order is dispatched. Please contact our support team as soon as possible at info@kitchenequipment.be or call +32 2 555 12 34. Once an order has been collected by our carrier, we are unable to redirect it.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?
In line with EU consumer rights law, you have 14 days from receiving your order to return most items for a full refund. Items must be in their original, unused condition with all packaging intact. Custom orders, perishable goods, and hygiene-sealed items that have been opened are not eligible for return.
How do I initiate a return?
To start a return, contact our support team at returns@kitchenequipment.be or through the Help section of your account. We will send you a prepaid return label by email. Pack the item securely, attach the label, and drop it off at any designated carrier point. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund.
How long does a refund take?
Refunds are processed within 14 days of our receiving your returned goods. The time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider — typically 3–5 business days for card payments. Refunds are made to the original payment method.
What if my equipment arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please photograph the damage and contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@kitchenequipment.be. We will arrange a replacement or full refund as quickly as possible, and we will cover all return shipping costs in this case.

Account & Security

How do I reset my password?
Click "Forgot password?" on the login page and enter your email address. You will receive a password reset link within a few minutes. The link is valid for 60 minutes. If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder or contact our support team.
Can I have both a buyer and seller account?
KEB uses a persona-based system. You can have one account and switch between buyer and seller personas. To become a seller, go to your account settings and select "Become a Seller". Our team will review your application within 2 business days.
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion by emailing privacy@kitchenequipment.be. Under GDPR, we will process your request within 30 days. Note that we are required to retain transaction and invoice data for 7 years under Belgian tax law, even after account deletion.

Products & Equipment

Are the products genuine and new?
KEB sells new, refurbished, and used professional kitchen equipment. Each listing clearly displays the condition (New, Refurbished, or Used) with a corresponding badge. All sellers on our platform are verified businesses or professionals, and all products must meet our quality standards.
Do products come with a warranty?
Warranty coverage varies by product and manufacturer. New equipment typically includes the standard manufacturer warranty (usually 12–24 months). Refurbished items include a minimum 6-month KEB warranty. Warranty information is listed on each product page.
Can I get technical documentation for equipment?
Yes. Many products include downloadable documents such as user manuals, data sheets, installation guides, and certifications. These are available on the product page under the "Documents" tab. If a document you need is not available, contact the seller or our support team.
Do you offer installation services?
For large or complex equipment, installation services may be available through our network of certified technicians. Look for the "Installation Available" badge on product listings, or contact our support team to arrange a quote. Installation pricing is separate from the product price.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Bancontact (for Belgian customers), SEPA bank transfer (for B2B orders over €500), and Stripe-powered payment methods. All payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Are prices shown including VAT?
Yes, all prices displayed to consumer (B2C) buyers include Belgian VAT (21% standard rate, or applicable reduced rates). If you are a VAT-registered business in Belgium or another EU member state, you can enter your VAT number during checkout to apply the appropriate VAT treatment.
Can I request an invoice?
An invoice (with VAT breakdown) is automatically generated for every order and sent to your email. You can also download invoices from your account under "Order History". For B2B customers requiring specific invoice details (company name, VAT number), ensure these are set in your account profile before checkout.
